In prep for an upcoming audition, I made this knit cotton tee using the top half of a Simplicity dress pattern. The one modification I made to this pattern was the sleeve shaping. After sewing the entire garment, the sleeves were flaring out and not laying against my arms the way I had planned. So I took in the underarm seam and decided to use hem tape for the first time. This was also the first project I used my serger for.
